Agapanthus Poppin Pink is a remarkable indigenous South African Agapanthus and the world’s first solid pink Agapanthus, developed by plant breeders Andy de Wet and Quinton Bean. After more than two decades of breeding, this exciting new variety produces beautiful pure pink flower heads, bringing an entirely new colour to the classic Agapanthus display. With its striking flower clusters and attractive strap-like foliage, Agapanthus Poppin Pink is an excellent choice for borders, containers, mass planting, landscaping projects and water-wise gardens. Its distinctive pink blooms also make it a standout feature plant for modern and traditional garden designs. Agapanthus Poppin Pink grows well in full sun to partial shade and performs best in fertile, well-drained soil. Add compost or other organic matter when planting to encourage strong growth and an impressive flowering display. Once established, Agapanthus is a hardy and relatively water-wise garden plant.
