Aloe marlothii is a hardy indigenous South African Aloe species known for its large architectural rosette and impressive branched flower display. It produces striking red to golden-yellow flowers, making it an excellent feature plant for larger gardens, water-wise landscapes and landscaping projects. Aloe marlothii grows best in full sun and performs well in fertile, well-drained soil. Prepare the soil with compost or other organic matter before planting and allow excess water to drain freely. It is a drought-tolerant species once established and is particularly suited to sunny garden conditions. Looking for indigenous plants near me?
