Lysimachia nummularia is a low-growing, spreading groundcover plant commonly known as creeping Jenny. It is valued for its small, rounded green leaves and vigorous trailing habit, while its cheerful yellow, cup-shaped flowers add seasonal colour. It is an excellent choice for borders, containers, hanging displays, rockeries and areas where a spreading groundcover is required. Lysimachia nummularia grows well in full sun to partial shade and performs best in fertile, consistently moist soil. Its trailing stems can spread across the ground or cascade over the edges of containers, creating a lush, flowing effect. Looking for groundcover or trailing plants near me?
