Eragrostis curvula, commonly known as weeping lovegrass, is a hardy indigenous South African ornamental grass valued for its fine, arching foliage and graceful, flowing form. Its soft green leaves create movement and texture, while its delicate seed heads add further seasonal interest. It is an excellent choice for borders, mass planting, naturalistic gardens and landscaping projects. Eragrostis curvula grows best in full sun and performs well in well-drained soil. Once established, it is a hardy and relatively water-wise grass, making it well suited to low-maintenance and indigenous garden designs. Its flowing form also works beautifully when planted in groups. Looking for indigenous grasses or landscaping plants near me?
