Mangave purple people eater is a striking succulent perennial valued for its sculptural rosette of fleshy, pointed leaves. The foliage develops rich purple to burgundy colouring, often enhanced by darker spotting, creating a dramatic feature in the garden. Its compact architectural form makes it an excellent choice for containers, rockeries, succulent gardens, borders and feature planting. Mangave purple people eater grows best in full sun to partial shade and performs best in fertile, very well-drained soil. Allow the soil to dry between watering and avoid consistently wet conditions. Its bold foliage and low-maintenance nature make it particularly well suited to contemporary and water-wise garden designs. Looking for succulents or colourful foliage plants near me?
