Geranium incanum is a delicate indigenous South African groundcover and flowering perennial with fine, fern-like foliage and a soft, spreading growth habit. It produces pretty pink to mauve flowers, adding gentle colour to the garden. Its low-growing form makes it an excellent choice for borders, rockeries, containers, groundcover and naturalistic planting. Geranium incanum grows best in full sun to partial shade and performs well in fertile, well-drained soil. Good drainage is important, while regular watering during establishment will encourage healthy growth and flowering. Its delicate appearance works particularly well in informal and indigenous garden designs. Looking for indigenous groundcover or flowering plants near me?
