Carex Auburn is an attractive ornamental sedge known for its fine, arching foliage in rich bronze-red to auburn tones. It forms graceful clumps with a flowing, fountain-like appearance, bringing colour, texture and movement to the garden. This versatile ornamental grass is well suited to borders, containers, mass planting, rockeries and contemporary landscaping. Carex Auburn grows well in full sun to partial shade and performs best in fertile, well-drained soil. Keep the soil reasonably moist, particularly during hot and dry periods, to encourage healthy growth and maintain its attractive foliage. Its compact, arching form makes it a useful choice for both garden beds and containers. Looking for ornamental grasses or low-growing plants near me?
